TESG Sustainability Dataset

Preface

In 2021, the Financial Supervisory Commission renamed the CSR report to the Sustainability Report, symbolizing a transition from CSR slogans to the practical implementation of ESG goals. Through these sustainability data, companies can disclose relevant information on the three major ESG pillars: “Environmental,” “Social,” and “Governance.” This increases transparency, allowing stakeholders to understand the planning and outcomes of a company’s sustainable development and operations. It also serves as an important basis for responsible investment and responsible lending by financial institutions.

However, collecting and integrating various ESG information is time-consuming and labor-intensive. Moreover, measuring overall ESG performance solely through the Sustainability Report is too limited and is constrained by the annual data release cycle. “TESG Sustainability Dataset” encompasses over 20 publicly available ESG information sources, integrating and including them according to the international SASB sustainability accounting standards framework. This provides users with the most timely and convenient ESG database for inquiries.

TESG Sustainability Dataset – The Most Comprehensive Taiwan ESG Database

TESG Sustainability Dataset, based on the three major ESG dimensions: Environment (E), Social (S), and Corporate Governance (G). It includes ESG information from over 20 public sources and provides over 40 different ESG data sets, including information on carbon emissions, participation in international initiatives like SBTi or TCFD, director and employee compensation, board gender composition, patents, and more.

Additionally, it is the most comprehensive ESG database in Taiwan, covering ESG information for all publicly listed companies and SMEs in Taiwan. It stays up-to-date with regulations and provides the latest and most extensive ESG data sets, making it the best quantitative indicator for measuring corporate ESG performance.
